Body, Mind, and Soul
Body needs healing * Mind needs listening * Soul needs prayer
The Body is physical * The Mind is emotional * The Soul is Spiritual
At Open Arms CMHC, we seek to reach the greater community by helping to establish a powerful relationship with the family members, teachers, and most importantly YOU. We aim to build a bridge with the community by engaging ourselves in different services and activities that will strengthen an individual’s well-being for both their educational and social lives. We ultimately seek the goal of understanding in order to bring people back to their families with a sound way of thinking and a more proactive mindset. We encourage the support of the communities, organizations, individuals, and corporations from all walks of life to join us and to share the desire of making our community a better place for generations to come.
Our number 1 goal is to provide professional services to all people that will bring healing and hope to those who have been broken, abused and disparaged regardless of race, color, nationality, religion or gender.
Some of our key objectives are:
A. To promote a strong family-oriented center within a growing community that is in need.
B. To establish a health center with values and principles that promote healthy living and thriving individualism.
Our health center will serve the needs of the community through different services and
programs that will address their spiritual, social, educational and emotional needs.

Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19)
Most importantly, we hope you and your family are safe and healthy. The situation with COVID-19 has developed quickly and continues to change fast. We know this is a confusing time for everyone.
Get helpful prevention tips and follow updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and your local authorities but if you feel any symptoms go to the hospital or a testing center and get tested to protect your family, your love ones and your community.
Take steps to protect others
Stay home if you’re sick.
-
Stay home if you are sick, except to get medical care. Learn what to do if you are sick.
Cover coughs and sneezes
-
Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze or use the inside of your elbow.
-
Throw used tissues in the trash.
-
Immediately wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not readily available, clean your hands with a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
Wear a facemask if you are sick
-
If you are sick: You should wear a facemask when you are around other people (e.g., sharing a room or vehicle) and before you enter a healthcare provider’s office. If you are not able to wear a facemask (for example, because it causes trouble breathing), then you should do your best to cover your coughs and sneezes, and people who are caring for you should wear a facemask if they enter your room.
-
If you are NOT sick: You do not need to wear a facemask unless you are caring for someone who is sick (and they are not able to wear a facemask). Facemasks may be in short supply and they should be saved for caregivers.
Clean and disinfect
-
Clean AND disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily. This includes tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, desks, phones, keyboards, toilets, faucets, and sinks.
-
If surfaces are dirty, clean them: Use detergent or soap and water prior to disinfection.
